Emergency Services at Playa Linda
Health has always been high on the agenda at the Playa Linda Beach Resort, but now the resort is taking an
even more proactive step by ensuring a speedy response to any medical emergency situation. By offering a
continuously staffed Emergency Center on premises, Playa Linda employees and guests can take advantage of
first aid services. The new center also provides an immediate EMS response.
"We not only make a difference by getting to the scene quicker, but we also provide guidance
through the
entire hospital experience, talking with
doctors, expediting the trip to x-ray and doing the follow-up with the patient to make sure everything
is OK," explains Angel Rojas, Kini Kini managing director.
The center, located near the resort's Fitness Center, operates on a 24-hour schedule, open to walk-ins from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with an EMS technician always on call. The center is staffed with certified EMS technicians who received their training in the U.S. and according to US emergency medical services protocol.
