Does Playa Linda provide transportation from the airport to the hotel?

No, unfortunately we don't have a shuttle service available. There are taxis available at the airport that can bring you to the hotels, see rates below. 

What is the cab fare from the airport to Playa Linda Beach Resort?

From Monday through Saturday the rates from the airport to Playa Linda Beach Resort are $ 25.00 per taxi. On Sundays and Holidays the rates are $28.00 per taxi.

Is there a bus stop nearby, how much is the fare?

The bus stops are next to Playa Linda, either at the left or right side, in front of the Holiday Inn or the Hyatt Regency. The fare is $1.50 per person one way or $2.30 for a round trip. You can pay with U.S. currency on the bus but you need small change.

Does Playa Linda Beach Resort have a massage center or spa?

There is new Spa at the Resort, named Spa del Sol. For massage therapies, facial treatments, body treatments, nail & foot care and waxing treatment. Please call for appointments at ext. 878 or for more info you can visit their website at www.spadelsol.com

Are there hairdryers in the rooms?

All rooms are equipped with hairdryers.

Does Playa Linda Beach Resort provide wheelchairs?

Wheelchairs are available at our Resort. There are also reserved parking spaces in the parking lot underneath the hotel. You can request the wheelchairs upon arrival. If you need to reserve a scooter, please contact our concierge at ytromp@playalinda.com

Does Playa Linda Beach Resort have baby cribs and highchairs available?

Baby cribs and highchairs are available and may be requested by sending us an e-mail or fax.

Are accommodations available for additional nights?

Yes, if its not possible to schedule your flight from Sunday to Sunday you may book extra night(s). Contact our reservations department to check for availability. Call (011) 297 586 1000 ext. 815, 882 or 802.

Does Playa Linda Beach Resort do in-house exchanges?

No, at Playa Linda Beach Resort we don't do in-house exchanges. You may exchange your week(s) through RCI and II.

Can we let a guest use our Time Share?

Yes, if its not possible for you to come visit us at Playa Linda Beach Resort in your own week, you can always send a guest. Upon arrival we will ask for an authorization letter from the owner. The owner must write a letter in which he authorizes the guest to occupy the owner's room number and week. The letter must be signed by the owner.

Are there BBQ grills at Playa Linda Beach Resort?

Yes, we do have BBQ grilles available at our resort. They are installed on the left side of the resort. You may reserve the use of a grille by contacting the Front Desk A $25.00 deposit is required to use the grilles, which will be returned after the BBQ area is found to be spic and span.

Is Internet access available?

Yes, in our lobby there are two cyber stations, which you can use to access the Internet. The charge $1.00 for 6 minutes which can be paid either in cash or with your credit card. A wireless connection is available for $10 per day or $35 for the week, unlimited access.

Can we use our laptop computer to access the Internet from our room and what is the charge?

Yes, all rooms have a high speed modem and Wi-Fi access. Your computing device (e.g., laptop, PDA) must be equipped with built-in Wi-Fi or a Wi-Fi adaptor using 802.11b protocol.

Does Playa Linda Beach Resort have babysitters available? And what are the rates?

Yes, experienced, reliable babysitters are available on call. All have been working for us for many years. The rates are as following:
- Monday thru Friday (weekdays 6am to 11.59pm) $10.00/hour.
- Saturday, Sunday and Holidays (6am to 11.59) $12.50/hour.
- After midnight (12am - 5.59am) $12.50/hour.
There is a minimum charge of 3 hours.

Can we bring our pet to Playa Linda Beach Resort?

Sorry, no pets are not allowed at our Resort.

Does Playa Linda Beach Resort have DVD players available?

You may rent a DVD player per day or per week. The rates are $ 6.00 per day or $40.00 per week

Are there supermarkets close by the resort? Are they easy to reach?

We do have a minimarket at the resort. There are three large supermarkets close by. You can either go there by car, bus or taxi, about 5 -10 minutes from Playa Linda Beach Resort and easy to reach. Bus will stop right in front of the supermarkets. Taxi fare to supermarkets will be $8 -$9.00 + an extra charge of $1.00 if you need to use the trunk.

Does Playa Linda Beach Resort have guest laundry facilities?

Yes, on each floor there are washing machines and dryers. The machines work with U.S. quarters. One load of clothes for:
Washing machine:$1.50
Dryer:$ 1.00
Soap dispenser:$ 1.25
Quarters are available at the Front desk.

Does Playa Linda Beach Resort have dry-cleaning service available?

Dry cleaning service is available. There are special bags and forms in each room, which you can fill out. Our Housekeeping Department will pick up the bags and take them to Dry Cleaning. If they are left in the morning, they will be returned the next morning. If they are left in the afternoon, they will be returned in the morning the second day. Rate sheets for dry cleaning are posted in the room.

Does Playa Linda Beach Resort have kids activities?

We do have daily activities for all ages. At night there are kid's activities, they will watch videos, games. Pizza or other kid's fast food is available. For more information, please feel free to contact our Activities Department at activities@playalinda.com

How much are the daily taxes?

The daily charges are the same for owners, guests and exchanges and are as follows:

Studio: Occupancy tax $ 9.50 per day	One Bedroom: Occupancy tax $ 10.28 per day	Two Bedroom: Occupancy Tax $ 11.88 per day
As an Exchange guest or Transient guest there is a daily Utility Charge of: $7 for a studio, $9 for a one bedroom, $12 for a two bedroom and $13 for a townhouse.
